2024 Chili Opener
It’s our opening golf event for 2024 at Old Avalon! Play 9 holes with a partner in a 2-person scramble event on Sunday February 25th. Tee times will be from 10:00AM – 3:00PM. Each team will be paired with another team for scoring accuracy. Enjoy homemade chili after your round in the clubhouse. Team prizes will be awarded based on number of entries (no handicap). Closest to the pin prizes will be awarded as well. Cost is $24/player which includes 9 holes w/cart, chili with plenty of toppings, drink, and prizes. Play an extra 9 holes after your event round for just $10 more per person. Sign up for your tee time by calling the golf shop at 330-856-1063.
New Management Agreement
Our company, M2 Golf Management, has signed an extension for 5 more years with the city of Warren to operate the golf course. Our agreement includes major improvements coming to the course starting this winter with new pumps for the irrigation system. New control boxes and sprinkler heads will be installed next to enable us to water tees and fairways in the coming year. Cart paths will be addressed in the spring. Old Avalon keeps getting better and better! Thank you to the city of Warren for your faith in our continued dedication to improving the golf course.
New Carts Have Arrived
Our new fleet of Club Car carts are on premise for 2024! We’ve agreed to a new 5-year lease with Club Car to supply our customers with new carts at Old Avalon.
New Fall Membership for $75.00
Receive unlimited green fees from October 1st through November 30th for $75.
Pay only a $7.50 cart fee for 9 holes and $15 for 18 holes when you use your fall golf membership in October and November (membership non-transferable).
Fall Bounce Back Promotion (begins 9/26)
Play 18 holes this fall then return to play again within 7 days with your receipt and pay just $19 for your next 18 hole round. Good through Wednesday November 30th.
Thanksgiving Drive for the Second Harvest Food Bank
For the second year in a row we are taking donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank. Bring in a non-perishable food item (canned good, cereal, peanut butter, etc.) and we’ll take $1.00 off your fall golf rate for 9 holes and $2.00 off for 18 holes. It’s a great way to help those in need leading up to the start of the holiday season.
Earn Free Green Fees (begins 9/26)
Make a merchandise purchase in the Old Avalon golf shop and earn credit towards free green fees (gift card purchases excluded). Spend at least $40 and earn $1.00 in free green fees for every dollar spent up to $100. Pay only a $7.50 cart fee for 9 and $15.00 for 18 when you use your green fee credit (non-transferable). Credit may be used through November 30, 2022.
Fall Golf Rates Begin Monday September 26th
We’re offering our fall off-season rates sooner than ever this year. Beginning Monday September 26th our reduced rates will go into effect. Pay the same fall rate on the weekends as weekdays! Click here for our new seasonal course fees.
